Overnight respite for the van life traveler. The quiet municipality of St. John has absolutely nothing to do in it, which is why it is a sleepy and quiet place. BUT it is smack dab at the juncture of I-70 (east west) and I-170 (north south), as well as 2.3 miles from the North Hanley Metrolink station. That makes this overnight parking spot 18 minutes from downtown St. Louis as well as 15 minutes from Forrest Park and 15 minutes from historic downtown St. Charles. Or, if you just want to stay put, I've got a big fenced back yard (see pix) where you can sit under two huge oak trees and light a fire in the fire bowl if you want. (also pictured) My home is 1/2 mile from Endicott Park in St John, which has kid play equipment and walking paths and one of the better disk golf courses in the metro area. I'm not a huge fan of most of the restaurants within walking distance, but El Comal has very good authentic Mexican food.
