In addition to the rescue goats and sheep on property, we have abundant wildlife including deer, turkey, quail and red Fox. The camping area is private and cannot be seen from the house or road. Here’s a secret…my heart cries out to be a nomad! My soul tells me that I need to be a shepherdess. 
Shepherd’s Rest Goat and Sheep Rescue serves people who are terminally ill or disabled and can no longer care for the goats that have become their family. We also work with humane societies and law enforcement to provide sanctuary for goats who have suffered abuse and neglect. 
I grew up as a city girl, but life had other plans. Here I am goating-and killing it!
