Beautiful solitude with Mt. Blanca and the Great Sand Dunes within view. Only a 40 minute drive from both to include Zapata Falls. Fishing is 30 minutes north at San Luis Lakes or 15 minutes south at Blanca Wetlands. We live in what is called the "Dry Lakes" region, thus qualifying us as a high desert. Prickly pear available during summer, Cattails are abundant in the wetlands. Wetlands can be accessed with a hour hike south hiking through a desert that you will most likely have all to yours
