 No running water or bathroom. Welcome to your serene and peaceful retreat located in Coal Creek Canyon, just 45 minutes (33.6mi) from the I-25/I-70 Turnpike. Perched atop an estimated 55-million-year-old rock formation is a real example of Colorado mountain living. A rustic, quaint little cabin that features a composite deck with breathtaking and astonishing views of your own personal aspen grove. This is an ideal spot for morning coffee, afternoon BBQs, and evening stargazing with your favorite beverage. Nestled amidst this dense, healthy forest is an enchanting aspen grove that brings all types of wildlife, from bears, deer, elk, moose, to cute little foxes. Weather you are here for one day or a long week, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountain life. The cabin features high-speed wired/wireless internet, a bedroom, a sitting/TV area, a table for dining/games, and of course, the deck! What's incredible about the home is the privacy, as it's located at the end of a cul-de-sac, which allows for an escape from city life, with little to no vehicle traffic, yet there are amenities nearby. From the local watering hole, The Canyon Tavern, to the Wondervu café, serving "Mountain Mexican with Altitude" for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And there is the classic little town of Nederland 20 minutes west, Gross Reservoir, Carter Lake, a disc golf course, a coffee shop, and other restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive.
