After much debate, we’ve compiled a list of what we believe to be the top five most scenic drives in the United States for those road tripping in a campervan.

1. The Pacific Coast Highway, California - Stretching over 650 miles, this coastal road takes in some of California’s most stunning scenery. Think towering redwoods, crashing waves, and sandy beaches.

2. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Virginia and North Carolina - Winding its way for 469 miles through the Appalachian Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway is famous for its breathtaking views. Stop off at one of the many scenic overlooks to really appreciate the natural beauty of this region.

3. The Overseas Highway, Florida - This 127-mile stretch of highway connecting the Florida Keys is one of the most iconic road trips in the country. With the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, it’s easy to see why this route is so popular with campervan travelers.

4. The Million Dollar Highway, Colorado - This scenic drive takes in some of Colorado’s most stunning mountain scenery. The picturesque route runs for around 55 miles between Durango and Ouray.

5. The Beartooth Highway, Montana - An absolute must-do for any campervan traveler, this 68-mile stretch of road takes in some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. The Beartooth Highway reaches an impressive 11,000 feet at its highest point and offers views of alpine lakes, forests, and meadows.
