Mt Si Oasis 

Located  just 1 minute off of I90 in the historic lumber mill town of Preston our Vanly space is perfectly situated in the middle of it all.  30 minutes to downtown Seattle and Snoqualmie Pass. 15 minutes to Tiger Mountain, Duthie, Rattlesnake for epic mountain biking.   We are surrounded by hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trail systems in this beautiful back yard play ground.  The stunning Snoqualmie Falls and historic downtown Snoqualmie are 15 minutes away as well.   One block away is access to the Issaquah - Preston -Snoqualmie trail, a rail to trail system connecting the towns. Travel to Fall City and float the Snoqualmie River and then go visit the falls.

Other than to say "hi" or flip on a breaker, we will stay out of your way and let you enjoy your stay.  We have a big flat gravel lot with a motion light which is easy to back your rig in, and we will leave a 50 foot 120 volt extension cord accessible, a garden hose spigot to top off your water, and a small trash can.  

The neighborhood is small and peaceful so quiet hours are 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.  Please pick up after yourselves and pets and enjoy the beauty this area has to offer.

Tranquil, nature abundant vanlifing in Index, WA

Our driveway is directly across the street from a small, quiet, almost hidden, neighborhood lake and park. You'll find a small playground, neighbors walking their dogs, many ducks, the occasional eagle or turtle, and a friendly face or two out fishing or taking a row boat out onto the lake. 

We have a firepit and barbecue available for use in our shared backyard space. Note that the yard is not enclosed and some of our furry neighbors are protective of their homes so any pets must be leashed at all times. We recommend the park across the street as a great place to walk your pets (that's where we take our doggos).

Public Transportation: within 1/2 mile there are two bus stops serviced by busses to Downtown Seattle, West Seattle and Burien. Or we have an abundance of rideshare drivers. It rarely takes more than 5 minutes for an Uber to be out front and ready to take you where you want to go (not an exaggeration, I have never waited more than 5min for an Uber in our neighborhood, I've had much longer waits downtown).

"Secure Overnight Parking with Water, Wifi, & E...

Welcome to this little space of Heaven.  Amongst the beautiful trees in the orchard, you can slow down, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy this scenic environment, surrounded by lush green everywhere, majestic mountains, rippling sounds of the river flowing by and the occasional sounds of the train going by.  You can hook up via extension cord to the outlet in our breezeway for electricity and to a faucet in the back for amazing well water.  There can be a fire pit to utilize,  weather permitting.   You can sit in and relax in your private area of the yard, taking in all the incredible sights and amazing star view on a clear night.  You are welcome to take a walk through our 2 acres and visit our goats and chickens (from outside their fences), and garden when in bloom.  On your walk around the property, you can take in all the surrounding views of farm life from our neighbors, horses, cows, and more.  Gives you a fun, rustic, country sort of feeling.  There is even a horseshoe pit in the orchard, for those who'd like to give it a go.  You can view the home art Studio and sign up for your very own Pour Painting Experience.
You may see one of us working on and around the homestead, so if you need anything or have questions one of us will be around.
