Residential Neighborhood Driveway - Safe Community

We own a little hobby homestead in Plymouth, Massachusetts with goats (we have two babies right now!), sheep and chickens. There's a garden and greenhouse, fire pit, picnic table and gas grill. We will have wifi, electricity and water available for all of our guests, and for an extra fee we can provide a number of power tools (including a chop saw/circular saw) or access to our basement laundry at certain times of the day. Please keep in mind there may be free-ranging chickens waltzing around and in the heat of the summer, it can be a bit smelly! We will have eggs/fresh veg for sale as it's available. Our homestead is about 15 minutes away from the historic downtown Plymouth, with Plimoth Patuxet Museums (formerly known as Plimoth Plantation), Plymouth Rock and tons of great waterfront dining. We are also about 15 minutes from the Cape Cod Canal and all that Cape Cod has to offer. If you just want a great trail and the beach, we live only a mile from free access through a State Park. 

You are welcome to pet/hold the farm animals, but please don't do so without asking us first as they can escape. Also refrain from going into the garden since it might let the chickens in. Let us know before you arrive if you'll want water/electricity and if you plan to use the gas grill. We will have the WiFi password written down for you. The house itself is off-limits unless you want to do laundry (extra fee) -- we will have certain times available for laundry (since I can barely stay on top of my own LOL).  

Hobby Farm (w/ Baby Animals!) Wifi/Elec/Water

Enjoy an area that looks out onto 13 acres of pasture with a pond and stream.  The spot is close to Sandy Point Beach and Greenvale Vineyards and a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport.  It is a short walk to the Polo fields, horse stables, the Glen Manor House and the Greenway Trail. Please feel free to ask me any questions about the area.

We have free ranging ducks and Guinea Hens on the property.  While we love dogs, earlier this year a neighborhood dog got out and killed 4 of our ducks.  Dogs will have to be on a leash as a default until the owner can prove the dog has good recall and/or low prey drive.

We also have a J1772 plug available for car charging a small RVs.

You will be parking at a raised ranch home just 4 houses down from the coveted Indian Ave. Indian Avenue in Portsmouth, RI is a coveted waterfront drive offering stunning views of the Sakonnet and access to historic Newport. It's known for its beautiful, upscale homes and proximity to beaches, vineyards, and the town of Newport. Condé Nast Traveler has recognized Newport as a desirable travel destination, and Indian Avenue is a prime location within that area. My home has video surveillance to help you feel safe while on my property. I have an RV plug setup right outside my two car garage for you to plug into.
