Our Pleasure Point Surf and Beach Haven is ideal for RV travelers and vanlifers, located just 1.5 blocks from the stairs to the surf spot and Pleasure Point Market. In less than five minutes, you can be walking along a nice path to nearby Moran Beach or along East Cliff Drive to The Hook and other world-class surf breaks. 

With Wifi, electricity, a shower, a firepit, and a hot tub, we also offer pet play space (we have a friendly dog), garbage collection, and package delivery to make your stay comfortable. There is a public restroom 1.5 blocks away, located at Pleasure Point.

Note that the shower is not completely enclosed, so there is exposure to the upstairs of our neighbor’s house. For electricity, we have a 240v (30 amp) outlet in the driveway and 110v extension cord that reaches the driveway. For the 240v outlet, you cannot use all 30 amps, as we have a few appliances running on it. Shower and electricity are available for extra charge; more specific instructions will be provided upon check-in. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED, PLEASE.

* Driveway is a bit steep going up, but flat ground. Vans must have enough clearance. 
Check in time is 7pm.  Check out time is 12 pm

I have 2 personal parking spaces considered private property, big enough for 2 sprinter vans or one larger vehicle. There is bus service on the block and 2 metro stations within a mile (15-20 min walk). I also have a bike if needed to get around or to enjoy the W&OD bike trail ( 3 min ride away). I also have electricity available if needed. It’s a residential neighborhood but close to urban amenities. I am happy to give you space and privacy once set up and/or to give you area restaurant and attraction recommendations if you like! I can do same day bookings with advance confirmation by chat…I just need notice to move our vehicles. Safe travels!

Our spot is perfect for adventure vans (but not large RVs) and for those who want to avoid driving their rig once they get here. It’s fun to base camp out of the heart of the city and be close to the beach!

We have a parking spot in the front of the house that's $95/night. If you'd like a more private space, you can pull in behind the gates for $150/night. The width of your vehicle will have to be less than 8 ft to fit smoothly into the backyard.

Less than a mile from Downtown, the boardwalk, and the beach. No need to drive once you get here!

Santa Cruz Urban Oasis

Hacienda 6 Palms is a gorgeous walled olive ranch estate with private, secret, and romantic gardens throughout nestled among majestic California oak trees and large boulders throughout the property. Guests staying at the Mesa at Hacienda 6 Palms will enjoy parking amongst the grape vines in the vineyard surrounded by olive trees, stunning views, casual walks, a restful nap in one of the hammocks under the oak trees. No matter where you are relaxing you will be within close view of any of the 150 Tuscan variety of Olive Trees throughout the working olive farm & vineyard.

PARKING:
Sprinter Vans up to 25 feet park within the vineyard surrounded by grape vines and Tuscan olive trees. There is 20/30/50 amp electrical hook up and also water hookup.

SHOWER:
There is an amazing Joshua Tree style outdoor shower where you shower under the sun and stars. And yeah, it has hot water! Of course it does!

GARDENS:
There are gardens throughout on this 5 acre private ranch which is surrounded by walls and landscaping for increased privacy. 

YOUR PRIVATE GARDEN:
You will have your own private secluded garden which has 2 hammocks nestled under old oak trees surrounded by huge boulders. You have an outdoor BBQ grill and a teak dining table.

BATHROOM:
Bring your own bathroom or Luggable Loo, or borrow ours. Please discuss your needs.

BEDROOMS:
There are a couple bedrooms inside the house. Inquiry within as to the availability for overnight stays inside the house.

KITCHEN:
There is a kitchen which can be occasionally made available.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:
The beaches are all nearby. So is wine tasting. Everything is as close as 25 minutes.

City Park Hideaway 

Just one mile off Hwy 10 and close to several other freeways. My neighborhood is quiet and safe, but close to lots of shopping. I have no neighbors behind me; there is just woods and swamp. I can leave an extension cord out for power if needed. An outside water source is available during warm/non-freezing months (April-early Nov). My driveway is at a slight incline but the area next to the garage is flat. There is a fire ring in my backyard that can be used as well. Smoking, parties, and parking on the street are prohibited. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash outside of the vehicle. There is a park at the end of my street (6 houses away) that you can bring your dog to for exercise, and all of the streets are sidewalk lined for walks. No vehicles that leak oil or other fluids. During the school year, we leave for school/work by 7am.

Quiet Neighborhood Close to Freeways

Great quiet neighborhood location at the end of driveway so there is no passing traffic. Centrally located, most everything can be reached in Monterey within 10 minutes from the house. A little over a mile from the fairgrounds, 5 minutes to the beach, easy access to downtown Monterey, Carmel, , Pacific Grove, Point Lobos, or take a drive down the coast to Big Sur for the day. 

We are happy to support guests with recommendations or needs that come up. We are a family with young children so while where you would stay would be removed from where we play and spend most of our day in the backyard, you may see us in passing or heading out to ride bikes or climb trees.

Take a walk, or borrow a bike and head down the Rose Canyon Trail just steps away from the house.   About a 4 block walk and you’re at the UTC/Westfield mall trolley stop where you can go shopping, eat dinner, or take the trolley anywhere in San Diego, even to the Mexican border!  A short 10min drive gets you to La Jolla Cove or beach at La Jolla shores, something not to be missed.

Dog leash available in backyard. Property is located right on Grand Ave which has a bus that goes directly downtown! 

Pitch your tent grassy backyard with fire pit. Power up and use the garden hose hook up. Walk to one of Chicago’s largest parks, Humboldt Park where you can go swimming, take a nature hike, eat from food trucks or the nearby small grocery store across the street called Central Park Foods. Autozone and 24 hour Gas station in walking distance. Parking for an oversized 22 foot long vehicle behind garage in driveway. Across the street from a children’s park!!! Security cameras on property.

We are offering Vanly patrons unimproved/overflow sites at a discounted rate of $50 per person per night.

We are cross-listed on hipcamp which is where we have our improved sites with firepits, picnic tables etc. at a rate of $75 for the first person and propane firepit rental, $50 per additional person.

I got a big property near the bywater that's well setup for outdoor living. I got a hot outdoor shower, kitchen, fire pit and bathroom. Fully fenced parking for vans and larger RVs, shaded tent camping spots, and a cute shack i can rent. Water, electric and wifi available. Good vibes.
