My husband and I have an acre of ground tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac.  We have a steepish driveway but masses of road frontage in the cul-de-sac.  No neighbors except on one side of us, so you don't have to worry about blocking anyone in.  I have included pictures of just how spacious our property is, and google street views of the cul-de-sac.  Our driveway is LONG and can fit about 10 -12 cars.   We aren't offering tons of amenities for your stay, but we offer safety, convenience, and SPACE.
We are located one mile out from the Eastern Kentucky University and the main city road, the Eastern Bypass, but we are technically county. Our neighborhood is not restricted against RV's and out closest neighbor leaves their RV parked on the street all summer long.  Our road is wide and the cul-de-sac empty, so it is a breeze to turn around in.  Our local school busses never have a problem.  
Our neighborhood is SAFE and we all know each other's names.  Our closest neighbor is retired police dispatch and a member of the local rescue team.  We all wave to one another and we have frequent dog walkers in the cul-de-sac, so don't be surprised if someone strikes up a conversation with you!  Just let them know you are our temporary guests, and they will welcome you warmly.  
My husband and I work opposite shifts, so one of us is always home if you need us, although we might be asleep at odd hours.  We believe in kindness and respect, and do not discriminate against anyone based on race, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, gender identity, or sexual orientation.  As long as you are kind and respectful, you are welcome here!

We have about an acre behind our house with driveway access.  One side is a thin tree line between us and a subdivision and the other side is our neighbor’s yard.  There is a fire pit that is the maximum local regulation size.  

There is a level spot that is on the grass area or a spot on pavement with a slight incline.  The drive way is pictured looking down towards the road.  

The barn pictured from above has fallen and is being cleaned up.  

This would be a good short stay or overnight stay site.  

We are close to many restaurants, Walmart, auto parts, gas, etc.  

Paved area, but no power on that side of the lot.  Also, very close to the property line.  Potentially neighbors could see inside your rig.  

Good Derby weekend or overnight site

We do have animals (3 cats and 1 very cute pup), so please be mindful if you are in the house at any point.
