Whether you're passing through on your way to Sequoia National Forest, are going kayaking or rafting on the Kern River, maybe hiking one of the local trails, or are simply seeking to relax around Lake Isabella and Kernville, we offer a variety of opportunities to explore. From hiking and fishing to kayaking, rafting, and sightseeing in the stunning Kern River Valley, our location has something special for every kind of traveler.

VANLIFERS, RVers & CAMPERS: Nestled in a quiet rural neighborhood of the Southern Sierra Mountains, out back of our home offers an alternative camping experience. In celebration of the upcoming camping season, we’ve reduced our camp and parking rates for a limited time!

Choose from 2 camp spots based on your vehicle and camping needs:

SPOT A:
Ideal for smaller vehicles (minivans or vehicles under 8ft tall). Park or camp comfortably under the carport with shade all day. If your vehicle exceeds 8ft in height, park beside the carport. 

SPOT B:
Perfect for larger RVs or vans (16ft to 25ft long). Situated alongside a row of cypress trees, this spot offers afternoon shade and includes options for 
30-amp electrical hook-up and water.

Important Note:
If your vehicle is not equipped with a porta-potty or self-sufficient toilet system, no worries! as we have an inside toilet which is included in the cost of parking. For a small fee we also have an outside shower with hot water!

* Kern River: A 20-minute drive brings you to a variety of river activities including whitewater rafting, kayaking, and tubing (during late summer when the river is at its lowest).

Kern River, Lake Isabella & Sequoia Nat'l Forest 

We are located 38 miles from Sequoia National Park in the city of Visalia.  We are located in a quiet kid friendly neighborhood.  Stop in for a night or use us as a base camp to enjoy Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Park.

Sequoia NP Base Camp

Park your van and pitch a tent on a flat, green piece of land, perfect for a home base.  The property allows easy access to Highway 190 which allows campers to visit Giant Sequoias, lakes, rivers, trails, wilderness areas, and forest lands within minutes of your base.  Campers come back to a peaceful, healing place that is approximately 1 hour from the Sequoia/Kings National Parks. Home to rescue dogs who are convalescing so engage with rescue animals only if a host is present.

Kokopelli Moon Rescue

An easy in and out half circle driveway just one mile from shops, food, fuel. We also have a van, so we decided to become hosts since we have the space at home. 
Located in Visalia, CA. 
Our place is 27 miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance station just above Three Rivers, CA. We are approximately 80 miles from the south Yosemite entrance station.

We have no dogs on our property, just a couple of outdoor cats roaming around. We allow pets that must be ON LEASH at all times and must be picked up after. 😊

Cute quiet neighborhood located in the Central Valley. We are located in the middle of California so a perfect pit stop location before your final destination. We are close to Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park, town of the World Ag Expo, and also just a few hours away from Los Angeles, San Francisco or if you want to hit the beach we are a little over 2 hours away. We also have a nice outlet mall if you want to shop or grab some food. Feel free to make this your pit stop to your next destination.
