This driveway is ideally located in a quiet Gunnison neighborhood and is a 1-min walking distance to public toilets (that’s the building to the right in the scenic photo) (open seasonally, closed in the winter). 6-7 min walk to public free bus that whisks you to Crested Butte (40 min ride on bus, 30 min by car). Grocery store and rec center (showers!) is a 5 min drive/bike, downtown gunnison is a 6 min drive/bike. It’s about a 15-20 min drive to Hartman Rocks, our local gem. The in-town walking trail is across the street, and the Signal Peak trail system starts about 1 mile from here. We are also very near the Char Mar park and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. 

You can use our hose to fill up your water tanks. Electricity will be provided via an outdoor outlet near the garage door. 

Due to the quiet nature of the neighborhood, quiet hours will be strictly enforced (10pm-8am). Any pets (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, whatever) outside of your vehicle will need to be leashed and picked up after.

With Wifi, electricity, a shower, a firepit, and a hot tub, we also offer pet play space (we have a friendly dog), garbage collection, and package delivery to make your stay comfortable. There is a public restroom 1.5 blocks away, located at Pleasure Point.

Note that the shower is not completely enclosed, so there is exposure to the upstairs of our neighbor’s house. For electricity, we have a 240v (30 amp) outlet in the driveway and 110v extension cord that reaches the driveway. For the 240v outlet, you cannot use all 30 amps, as we have a few appliances running on it. My place is situated in a safe neighborhood in Manhattan Beach, CA. it is walking distance to Target, Trader Joes, and Ralphs. There are some restaurants, and coffee shops nearby as well. The pier, and beach are only a 6 minute drive, or a 25 minute walk. 
* Driveway is a bit steep going up, but flat ground. Vans must have enough clearance. 
Check in time is 7pm.  Check out time is 12 pm

Hacienda 6 Palms is a gorgeous walled olive ranch estate with private, secret, and romantic gardens throughout nestled among majestic California oak trees and large boulders throughout the property. There is an amazing Joshua Tree style outdoor shower where you shower under the sun and stars. And yeah, it has hot water! Of course it does!

GARDENS:
There are gardens throughout on this 5 acre private ranch which is surrounded by walls and landscaping for increased privacy.

You will have your own private secluded garden which has 2 hammocks nestled under old oak trees surrounded by huge boulders. You have an outdoor BBQ grill and a teak dining table.

We have a parking spot in the front of the house that's $95/night. If you'd like a more private space, you can pull in behind the gates for $150/night. The width of your vehicle will have to be less than 8 ft to fit smoothly into the backyard.

A short 10min drive gets you to La Jolla Cove or beach at La Jolla shores, something not to be missed.

A little over a mile from the fairgrounds, 5 minutes to the beach, easy access to downtown Monterey, Carmel, , Pacific Grove, Point Lobos, or take a drive down the coast to Big Sur for the day. 

We are happy to support guests with recommendations or needs that come up. We are a family with young children so while where you would stay would be removed from where we play and spend most of our day in the backyard, you may see us in passing or heading out to ride bikes or climb trees.

A quiet neighborhood on the east side of Carson City. Our 20’ van fits our driveway or if you have a longer van, you can use our curbside parking with plenty of space as we are on a corner lot. 

Dogs welcome and can potty anywhere in front yard (rock-scaped).

PLEASE LET ME KNOW PRIOR TO BOOKING IF YOU WOULD LIKE ACCESS TO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: We have a large patio that you can enjoy a gas fire-pit on, apple trees to pick from, seating, tables, a hammock, and shade available to use.
Have furry friends that need to stretch their legs without worry of running off? We have a privacy fenced-in backyard and a designated (rock) potty area. 

PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you are needing to use our bathroom PRIOR TO booking, also (as we must be present for use). It can be a bit confusing on this app. If you need shower access ($2/person/day) that INCLUDES using the restroom also. If you are just needing restroom (no shower) that is the same cost ($2/day/person).
