Are you looking for a peaceful place to park or camp overnight? Look no further! Whether you are driving through on your way to Sequoia National Forest (are a PCT thru-hiker) or simply investigating all the opportunities of hiking, fishing, kayaking and rafting in the Kern River Valley, we have a spot for you! Or maybe you are only seeking a few days of a rest stop along your van-life/RV journey, our spot has plenty to offer. 

We Have 2 Spots to Chose From. Note - 1 vehicle allowed at a time, so there will not be any other guests here (you will have it to yourself).
SPOT A: 
Park/Camp under the carport if your vehicle is a minivan or is under 8 feet tall. Under the carport there is shade all day long. If your vehicle is over 8 feet tall, simply park beside the carport.  
SPOT C: 
Parking for larger RV's there is an area alongside a row of cypress trees that provides afternoon shade for larger RV's (can include 30 amp hook-up & water).  
IMPORTANT NOTE: 
None of the spots has bathroom facilities, so if your vehicle is not equipped with at least a porta-pottie, please sign up for the toilet option. The bathroom is toilet and small sink, no shower or bathtub. 

The Lake Isabella / Kern River Valley offers countless activities to enjoy: fishing, swimming, and boating are just a 2-minute drive away at Lake Isabella. For those who prefer a river, the Kern River is only a 20-minute drive. Go whitewater rafting with one of the local companies, or kayaking, or tubing (tubing in the middle/late summer, when the river is at its lowest), or try your hand at fly-fishing - many professional guides / outfitters in the area.  

Step into the wild west with a visit to historic Kernville, where you can enjoy homemade brews at the Kern River Brewery and savor delightful dishes at local eateries in the historic downtown area. For history buff, there is a western museum and a Native American Cultural Center. 

Nature enthusiasts will find plenty of hiking trails nearby and can take a breathtaking drive up the Kern River to hike the Trail of 100 Giants in Sequoia National Park, and many, many more trails await exploration. Several wilderness areas are close at hand with the Pacific Crest Trail at Walker Pass less than a half an hour away!

Parking in our rural backyard is perfect for the hardy adventurer. While amenities are limited, the cost is normally higher than listed,  BUT, discounted pricing available to guest from now to July 9th of only $15!!!!! and you'll enjoy the tranquility of our peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

Important notes: no parties allowed, and quiet hours are between 9 PM to 10 AM everyday, including weekends.

 It's shovels near cabins and it should be one in front by entrance why plywood is on ground and one by yellow generator to dig a holes and dispose of poop. 

It's completely off grid/Boondocking.

No power nor electric is on property. Water is available FREE in most of the gas stations(Speedway Gas Station behind building in front of car wash)in Edenton just 15min over the Albemarle Bridge.

Just be responsible and respectful is all I ask.

It's another lady on property in the Greyish/Bluish cabin if you see her. She has 3 small dogs.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

It can get WET after heavy rain in front entrance entering woods where PLYWOOD is on the ground so after PASSING the MAIL BOX coming in the main entrance PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE step out your vehicle to make sure it's ok to drive on top of the plywood to enter back there in woods. 

Park in the front behind White RV which is also behind the mail box or in front of the Tiny Homemade Cabin on wheels if the entrance to the woods is too wet to drive back there but you can definitely walk back there and set up camp anywhere as long as another camper's privacy is not being violated.

WARNING WARNING WARNING ‼️
No large vehicles nor RVs nor trailers over about 16 FEET are allowed pass wood entrance where Plywood is on the ground right now because it would be almost impossible for you to turn around back there in the woods. We're working on making a "turn about/around" back there.

You can pretty much make a fire pit anywhere that is not bothering anyone else. There is one in front of the Red Cabin that you can use if no one else is using it. Someone is in the Greyish/Bluish cabin so you'd have to ask her to use that fire pit in front of her cabin. But other than that you can chop up or gather any wood on property and make a camp fire🔥

I have 2 personal parking spaces considered private property, big enough for 2 sprinter vans or one larger vehicle. There is bus service on the block and 2 metro stations within a mile (15-20 min walk). I also have a bike if needed to get around or to enjoy the W&OD bike trail ( 3 min ride away). I also have electricity available if needed. It’s a residential neighborhood but close to urban amenities. I am happy to give you space and privacy once set up and/or to give you area restaurant and attraction recommendations if you like! I can do same day bookings with advance confirmation by chat…I just need notice to move our vehicles. Safe travels!

We are situated in the heart of the red rocks of Sedona, 10 minutes from west Sedona and the shops and restaurants, and five minutes form the creek.  far away enough to feel in nature but close enough not to feel isolated.   This is a safe spot for travelers to stop and rest and enjoy the trials and sights of Sedona.   
I live on the 2 acre property as well, and am around if needed 

Heart of Red Rocks 

Great quiet neighborhood location at the end of driveway so there is no passing traffic. Centrally located, most everything can be reached in Monterey within 10 minutes from the house. A little over a mile from the fairgrounds, 5 minutes to the beach, easy access to downtown Monterey, Carmel, , Pacific Grove, Point Lobos, or take a drive down the coast to Big Sur for the day. 

We are happy to support guests with recommendations or needs that come up. We are a family with young children so while where you would stay would be removed from where we play and spend most of our day in the backyard, you may see us in passing or heading out to ride bikes or climb trees.

Hacienda 6 Palms is a gorgeous walled olive ranch estate with private, secret, and romantic gardens throughout nestled among majestic California oak trees and large boulders throughout the property. Guests staying at the Mesa at Hacienda 6 Palms will enjoy parking amongst the grape vines in the vineyard surrounded by olive trees, stunning views, casual walks, a restful nap in one of the hammocks under the oak trees. No matter where you are relaxing you will be within close view of any of the 150 Tuscan variety of Olive Trees throughout the working olive farm & vineyard.

PARKING:
Sprinter Vans up to 25 feet park within the vineyard surrounded by grape vines and Tuscan olive trees. There is 20/30/50 amp electrical hook up and also water hookup.

SHOWER:
There is an amazing Joshua Tree style outdoor shower where you shower under the sun and stars. And yeah, it has hot water! Of course it does!

GARDENS:
There are gardens throughout on this 5 acre private ranch which is surrounded by walls and landscaping for increased privacy. 

YOUR PRIVATE GARDEN:
You will have your own private secluded garden which has 2 hammocks nestled under old oak trees surrounded by huge boulders. You have an outdoor BBQ grill and a teak dining table.

BATHROOM:
Bring your own bathroom or Luggable Loo, or borrow ours. Please discuss your needs.

BEDROOMS:
There are a couple bedrooms inside the house. Inquiry within as to the availability for overnight stays inside the house.

KITCHEN:
There is a kitchen which can be occasionally made available.

The beaches are all nearby. So is wine tasting. Everything is as close as 25 minutes.

Spectacular in every season, our area offers opportunities for all kinds of outdoor exploration including hiking, paddling, mountain biking, climbing, snowshoeing and skiing. A number of nearby villages offer sweet walkable main streets where you can shop, explore local restaurants, as well as check out our vibrant arts and music communities. In summer through fall you have your pick of local farmers markets, farms and even roadside honor-system farmstands. 

At our place you have access to our small but relatively private property with gardens, firepit, and access to water, electricity and wifi. Wildlife sightings are likely on our little property, and you may even be visited by our neighbor's wandering flock of chickens and ducks. Dogs are welcome - they must remain on leash, be cleaned up after, and never be left alone in your vehicle while staying with us. There is a sweet little dead-end road that is perfect for short walks, and of course plenty of dog-welcoming adventures in the vicinity as you can see our pup demonstrating in our pics of the area. There are folx regularly using the building during the daytime, and when we are not onsite we are just a few minutes away reachable by phone/text. 

We are happy to share tips and suggestions for exploring the area. Join our group yoga class, book a private Yoga, Nidra or Martial Arts class, or a healing session with our resident Fascial Counterstrain therapist from our a-la-cart options. We endeavor to found our business and our lives around anti-racist, LGBTQIA-welcoming principles and are always seeking ways to grow our awareness to be increasingly inclusive and accessible to folx of differing experiences and needs. We are located on the land of the displaced Mohican Nation Stockbridge–Munsee Band.

Welcome to the ultimate beach haven in beautiful Santa Cruz, California!👙🌊⛱️ 

Our Pleasure Point Surf and Beach Haven is ideal for RV travelers and vanlifers, located just 1.5 blocks from the stairs to the surf spot and Pleasure Point Market. In less than five minutes, you can be walking along a nice path to nearby Moran Beach or along East Cliff Drive to The Hook and other world-class surf breaks. 

With Wifi, electricity, a shower, a firepit, and a hot tub, we also offer pet play space (we have a friendly dog), garbage collection, and package delivery to make your stay comfortable. There is a public restroom 1.5 blocks away, located at Pleasure Point.

Note that the shower is not completely enclosed, so there is exposure to the upstairs of our neighbor’s house. For electricity, we have a 240v (30 amp) outlet in the driveway and 110v extension cord that reaches the driveway. For the 240v outlet, you cannot use all 30 amps, as we have a few appliances running on it. Shower and electricity are available for extra charge; more specific instructions will be provided upon check-in. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED, PLEASE.

Pleasure Point Surf and Beach Haven

I love to share my 1/3 Acre property with adventurers like myself! Its such a peaceful, safe, quiet place it’s hard to imagine you’re in the heart of the 8th largest city in the USA. 

Take a walk, or borrow a bike and head down the Rose Canyon Trail just steps away from the house.   About a 4 block walk and you’re at the UTC/Westfield mall trolley stop where you can go shopping, eat dinner, or take the trolley anywhere in San Diego, even to the Mexican border!  A short 10min drive gets you to La Jolla Cove or beach at La Jolla shores, something not to be missed.

We live in the fabulous and unexpected neighborhood of the Portage Lakes State Park near Akron, Ohio. In fact, since our house sits on the shore of a 44-acre no-wake lake, you will have FREE access to all the kayaking, floating, swimming and fishing you could want. Across the street is a 200-acre lake with a boat ramp. We are also close to 11 other various-sized lakes that create a chain of lakes. Our area also boasts many great and fun waterfront restaurants and bars. Additionally, your RV parking area is completely level and a straight pull-in. We invite you to join us at our lakeside fire pit whenever you see us out there which is most nights. We are happy to host you!

The 19 1/2% Lakehouse 

We are located in the Southside of Richmond City within walking distance of the James River Wetland Trails, Pony Pasture, and a handful of restaurants and shops. I live with my partner, our dog, two cats, AND a couple of goats who’d love to meet you! We have a large, level driveway space and side yard with decent shade. We are located on a road that acts as a thoroughfare to the river access, but things are generally pretty peaceful in our forested neighborhood by the James. Since we don’t have a shower or bathroom available, we feel this site is best for self contained camping vehicles. We can offer a hose hook-up if needed. We’d love to share a safe space for someone stopping through.

Hello and welcome to Charleston SC.  We are located on James Island, a picturesque area about 5 miles from downtown Charleston.  We are a 3 room inn (Bookings through AirBnB) and offer one additional space for parking a van no larger than 25 feet.  We have 15 amp 125V power and city water as well as a dump station (30 feet from your parking location).  Of course you can share our garbage service, too.   
We also offer a quiet space on a tidal creek to enjoy your coffee in the morning on our dock.  And if you arrive with sufficient time for kayaking around high tide, we have free kayaks to loan you.

I got a big property near the bywater that's well setup for outdoor living. I got a hot outdoor shower, kitchen, fire pit and bathroom. Fully fenced parking for vans and larger RVs, shaded tent camping spots, and a cute shack i can rent. Water, electric and wifi available. Good vibes.
